Technically cannibalism, although I would expect no less from the wacky Sue. Initially I thought it was supposed to be intestines. Discovering it was supposed to be umbilical cord was much worse... so, for the "ew" factor - bravo! 10 points!
*Apparently eating one's own placenta after birth reduces the risk of post-natal depression... * Gizmo - have you seen a placenta...*yikes* Umbilical cord looks nicer :-))
My theory... Sue fiddled with the test results. Mac did not fade away in the last shot on the motorbike. He will be back. Car wont stay with Guy when she hears about Mac being ill - obviously he isn't but we don't know that-yet. All the guys in the campervan-thingy over the cliff are going to be fine and Joanna will bond with Martin and get it together with Stratham. But what about Karen? Is she dead? Was the police there for her? Is Sue sacked? Questions questions questions....

Fried up, placenta looks like a steak... or a blood pudding. Well, it is, after all!
* MAC CANT DIE!!! He's the nicest character in the whole show! A proper hero too! He mustn't die! *
Actually, heroes often do- that's what makes them heroes! The cathartic suffering through which they are purified for passing up into a higher state of being... Mind you, 'Serenity' had a new twist on the idea: "Heroes get other people killed". Hmmm... I wrote an ever such long theory on IMDB about all this. I could put the Mac bit on here if it would amuse anyone!
Mind you, about a third series... 'Scrubs' is in season 8- 9 (?) now, and starting to look tired, really tired. Short and sweet sometimes works much, much better. Heh, coming from someone short and suitably saccherine. :)

Mostly pasta!
I just wonder who thinks of all this. Umbilical Sushi was the best so far!

I was pretty appalled by this, but the scene was hilarious.
Oh my god, series 2 finished like an hour ago. Jonathon, can you say anything more on the, uh, secret series 2 episode?!
I could not believe THAT ending... How cruel. Hope the rumour of x-mas special is true.

Anyway... yes.. THAT ending. Yikes. Poetic and far, far from the usual GW remit. Please don't go and do an 'ER' angst on us poor, unsuspecting fans...
