Haha, so where does one get a fake swan from?
...I was fake wasn't it?!

Nope, no fake! It was a real stuffed one that we got from a taxidermist. It had to be specially stuffed to be limp rather than rigid.
It also came from abroad because all English swans belong to the Crown!
In an interview I did recently for Channel 4 (I think will be available for online download...details soon) I talked about the huge array of stuffed animals we had on Series 2...so far you've seen a hamster and a swan...more to follow!

Lol, well you learn something new every day! I look forward to the interviews. :)

Speaking of the animals, that dog giving the tape to Guy was excellent!

Also, those dentures Sue wore, made esp for the scene?

Only asking cos i'm a dental tech! :) lol

Stephan doesn't look too happy in that last photo- I guess few people would be with a dead swan strapped to their back...
ah yes- the dog! I guess there was a trainer there, but how long did it take to film?! I'm surprised it didn't eat the tape.

Looked like a Great Dane to me!

the guy on a jet ski bit and the swan has been the best part of series 2 so far!

Yes, well spotted. It was a Great Dane, that was specifically trained to carry the video tape and jump up on Guy.
I think they probably trained it for a few weeks prior to filming, but possibly less, and then the filming only took about half an hour.
The dog performed brilliantly, and so we got the scene in very few takes.

The jet ski sequence was really fun to shoot...especially for Stephen. I thought I had some photos of it, but can't seem to find them on my computer. I think I've got some on my mobile phone, so will have a look.
We also shot the jet ski sequence towards the end of April, but didn't shoot the backpack arrival scene until 7th May, so we had to try to keep the swan in good condition for a few weeks.
It stayed in a cardboard box on our Art Dept Office truck :(
